Bimed Ex glands
have been developed for the usage with
electrical equipment in potentially explosive areas with the safety
level "e", the main usage is in chemical, petrochemical
industries and off-shore plants. The special polyamide compound and
construction provide a high impact resistance at lower temperatures.

The special
silicone seal
is designed to ensure that the cable glands maintain its IP68
protection against the ingress of both solid and liquid particles,
and provide
the strain relief specified by VDE, UL and CSA, in the many adverse
conditions where this type of cable is used.
Bimed Heat Trace
cable gland is available with EExe Atex approval to be used in
climates
where the ambient temperature can reach minus degrees.
